Teacher Training

A teacher holds a unique position in the life of a child. In today's world, a teacher's responsibility often reaches far beyond the material outlined in a curriculum. Although many teachers are willing to step up and accept these added responsibilities, they are looking for more tools and need to learn new skills. This is where Aleinu comes in. Aleinu offers trainings for teachers to help them navigate through the situations that feel like uncharted territory. This is especially true for our Child Abuse training that focuses on how to detect when a child in the classroom is being harmed at home, and then how to assist. Then there are the situations when children are harming one another whether it be physically, emotionally or socially. Aleinu has placed a tremendous emphasis on Bullying Prevention and has instituted workshops to educate school staff in the best ways to handle issues such as bullying and cliques that get out of hand. Aleinu also instructs teachers as to how to help children who are hurting themselves through Addictions or other self-sabotaging behaviors. For teachers, learning to be being proactive is essential.  Aleinu offers creative workshops on Motivating Students and Creating a Mission Statement for Your Classroom. Aleinu’s teacher’s trainings are designed to empower teachers to make an impact on the lives of their students that is positive and enduring.
