Motivating the Unmotivated

This workshop for teachers examines the needs of the “tough to reach” student, exploring the reasons that children often get “turned off.” The workshop equips the classroom teacher with ways to reignite students through class-wide games and interaction, teaching strategies and conversation starters. Teachers participating in the workshop have expressed feeling supported, empowered, and better able to reach all of their students.
Workshop emphasizes the “Use-Me-Tomorrow” techniques for immediate implementation in the classroom:
- Building rapport
- Promoting active learning
- Relevant classroom projects
