Shabbat of Awareness
For the past four years, Aleinu Family Resource Center, a program of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, has introduced community wide issues relevant to the Orthodox public through the Shabbat of awareness annual campaign.

Addiction 
After several teens experienced alcohol poisoning, and one nearly died in the emergency room over Simchas Torah, Aleinu began an advocacy campaign to enforce safe drinking and awareness for Yomim Tovim throughout the year. read more

On May 15, 2008, 100 Rabbis asked, Is Your Marriage MISSING IN ACTION? When the marital questions facing the Rabbanim of our community became increasingly more difficult, they approached Aleinu for answers…Aleinu turned to our community. Over 1500 survey results were gathered on marital satisfaction in the frum household. read more

Internet Education
The Aleinu Internet Education Conference alerted community members to the dangers of social-interaction internet sites such as MySpace, Facebook and chat rooms. Each attending community member received a copy of the Internet Safety Book containing articles and warnings from the LAPD and local Halachic Advisors as well as communication and guidance for at-home supervision. read more
