AS A RABBI YOU ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO REPORT ABUSE. YOU ARE ALSO AN IMPORTANT KEY TO THE SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM!
You are uniquely positioned to change community attitudes such as denial OR refusal of responsibility OR blaming the victim. Through your efforts you can showyour community that family violence in a Jewish home is never acceptable. As aspiritual leader you are aware, available to educate, and committed to intervene.
