Café Mom

Based upon an Israeli parent empowerment model called Yachdav, Café Mom is an ongoing, weekly program designed to strengthen families with multiple challenges by focusing on nurturing and empowering mothers. Café Mom provides a communal atmosphere for mothers to build relationships and support each other while cultivating their strengths as mothers and women. The Cafe Mom approach is a three-stage model including: self-nurturing and self-esteem building, parenting skills, and empowering the mothers to use their newly developed skills to help themselves and others.
