Step Parenting Class

Understanding the unique challenges that families face when they are comprised of step-parents and step-siblings, the focus of this group is to shed light on what works and does not work when navigating these new relationships. Parenting groups for step-parents are small and focused, offering experiential, hands-on learning. Focus is placed on the ABC’s of relationships and transitions, including grief and loss, co-parenting issues, and effective negotiations within the family. These groups offer support and validation for those who attend. Participants come to realize that they are not alone and that many step families are faced with the same challenges that they are experiencing.

When: Tuesdays, April 13, 20, 27, May 2   from 8 pm - 9:45 pm (4 meetings total)

Where: 8838 W. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035 (near the Robertson Blvd.)
