This year, before Purim, talk to your child with love:
• Develop a Purim plan together
• where they will be?
• with whom?
• when they need to be home?
• Check in with your child throughout the day. Let them know you care.
• Listen to your child’s Purim challenges
• Consider peer pressure
• Problem solve solutions that you both agree on
• Be clear about your rules, limits and expectations
• Talk to your Rabbi, make sure your shul is a safe place for children on Purim
• Create an emergency plan if they, or their friends, need help
