Parenting: The Early Years
Facilitator: Yossi Benperlas, M.A.
Starts tonight - Monday April 19th at 8 pm. (Limited space still available!)
This workshop offers a practical, positive, relationship-building approach to parenting. It is intended for parents with children ages two to nine, based on The Incredible Years Parenting* program. Say goodbye to long lectures on “how to become the ideal parent” and join the class that will provide the tools and guidance needed to address the issues parents struggle with at home.
This class includes practical advice for parents through the use of video clips and various activities in class. Every couple will also receive a copy of the Incredible Years parenting book which offers plenty of practical tips for the most common behavior problems parents encounter with children who are between the ages of 2 and 9.
In this class you will learn how to:
- Encourage your child to behave without punishment.
- Promote your child's social and language skills.
- Learn ways to develop your child's self-esteem.
