Aleinu Library
Most of us realize how therapeutic reading can be. We find ourselves entering the world described in the pages of a good book and becoming involved with the characters and their stories. We often close the cover having gained new insight and ideas. Through reading books directly related to our experiences or reading with our children, we can help ourselves, or assist a youngster, in overcoming the emotional turmoil related to a real-life problem. The stories read can then serve as a springboard for discussion, open up communication and possibly lead to a resolution of a dilemma.
Aleinu has a growing collection of over 350 books on important topics such as parenting, bullying, anxiety, relationships, cancer, depression and ADHD to name just a few.
We are excited to make this library of books available to the public. You can search for books that interest you online through our annotated bibliography and check them out for free at the Aleinu Family Resource Center located at 8838 W. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035.
