Preparation Workshop With Mrs. Debbie Fox

Privileged students from fifth to eighth grade were able to take part in workshops conducted by Debbie Fox, separated for boys and girls. The workshops focused on the concerns and hopes the students may have in regards to retirement/nursing home visits. By discussions and interactive role-playing, Fox led the students to discuss and share their knowledge of conduct with the elderly. The students were able to develop proper sensitivities and skills in speaking to and treating the people they visit in the retirement/nursing homes. Fox encouraged taking the challenge to grow a mutually enhancing relationship with their elders and helped create ease among the students, who were eager and patient to better prepare themselves for future visits.
