Jewish Family Service/Aleinu Family Resource Center Honors Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Physicians
The Aleinu Heroes of Hope Award honors those individuals whose leadership and generosity of spirit is recognized in the Jewish community. In its gala event, Heroes of Hope awarded Robert Adler, M.D., Ernest Katz, Ph.D, Alan Dauer M.D., and Hillel Laks, M.D. for their dedication and consistent support to members of the community in desperate need of their services.
Aleinu is a Jewish Family Service program that offers culturally sensitive resources, such as therapy, marriage counseling, social skills groups, Post Partum Depression educational groups, and dealing with families in times of crisis. Drs. Adler and Katz have been serving on the Aleinu Professional Advisory Board, a community professionals group related to the services offered by Aleinu, for the past three years. Aleinu is honored to host such professionals and community leaders as their Heroes of Hope 2008.
