Epstein Focuses On Child Safety

Aleinu Family Resource Center has begun its nationwide campaign to ensure safety for the children of the Orthodox Jewish community, after a successful run in schools in their Los Angeles area. H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy is the first to be certified under Aleinu’s “Child Safety Institute”, after completion of a comprehensive program, innovative in its goal to educate Orthodox adults and children alike through applicable instruction and informed discussion of safety issues.

Topics of abuse, abduction and molestation were addressed to concern parents and teachers by Aleinu’s outreach staff, including Nettie Lerner, director of the Child Safety Institute. Safety is a crucial priority for the Academy, and the inclusion of Aleinu’s powerful program ensures steps to protecting every child in attendance.
