Aleinu Tackles Substance Abuse Crisis Among Our Children

Through the support of Aleinu, boys recovering from substance addiction have created a short film to bring to light their story of struggle. From their courage to speak and the poignant stories they have to share, the Orthodox community has much to learn.

In a school system that rewards the select few that achieve their high standards, many of the boys feel rejected and misunderstood. The film attempts to raise awareness about the dangers of these unhappy youths turning to at-risk behavior and promoting the need for open, responsible adults to continue their love and support for the errant teens.
