Aleinu’s focus on addressing community needs addresses drug use and high-risk behavior among teens through their annual Shabbat of Awareness and Community Workshops. Principals and Rabbis gathered for a professional forum and education on drug use in Orthodox schools, which was later presented to parents in community meetings. A centerpiece video, produced by five yeshiva students in an earnest attempt to educate parents and teens on the dangers of alcohol and drug use, was presented. 

Aleinu continues to promote the topic through School-Based-Services, mandatory reporting drug policy and continual communication tips during holiday seasons.
