 DEBBIE FOX, LCSW Aleinu Director
Debbie, Director of Aleinu Family Resource Center and Child Advocacy, created a highly professional full service counseling center to meet the growing needs of the Los Angeles Orthodox community. Additionally, she has developed policies for keeping children safe in schools: the nationally renowned Safety Kid © sexual abuse prevention program, and other programs bringing education, prevention and intervention to the Orthodox world.
SARIT RUBENSTEIN Safety Kid© Coordinator
Sarit is well known throughout the Los Angeles area for her leadership skills and active volunteer work. She has successfully chaired and developed many community programs. Sarit first started with Aleinu’s Child Safety Institute as a Safety Kid© Mom and she lends her passion, dedication and professionalism to the success of the program.
BASSYA PINSON, Psy.D. Clinic Coordinator
Bassya Pinson, Psy.D. received her doctorate degree from New York University and is a New York and California licensed psychologist. She has been in practice since 1990, working with children, adolescents and adults. Dr.Pinson specializes in couple’s therapy, affect/emotional regulation and eating disorders. Currently, Dr. Pinson is facilitating Aleinu's Parenting Teens/Pre-Teens Workshop as well a Step-parenting Workshop. She is also the coordinator of Aleinu Mentors, training and matching Orthodox volunteers with youth.
YOSSI BENPERLAS, MA Clinician Mr. Benperlas holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Yossi works with children, teens, couples and families. Additionally, he facilitates a hands-on, interactive parenting group that teaches parents a positive, relationship-building approach to parenting.
MASHI BENZAQUEN, MSW Clinician
Mrs. Benzaquen earned her Masters degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. She has worked extensively with children from preschool to high school. Mashi is currently dividing her time between the city and the Valley - counseling clients of all ages in the clinic, co-coordinating Aleinu's new girls mentoring program, and providing school based services for high school students.
WENDY FINN, LCSW Clinician
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Wendy Finn received her MSW from University of Southern California. In 2001 she began working for Aleinu and put her creative energies and highly professional standards into developing the Aleinu School-Based-Counseling program. Wendy dedicated a year to the development of the highly acclaimed Aleinu Julis Child Safety Program, aka Safety Kid©. Currently, she is the YULA girls school therapist.
 RACHEL HECHT, MSW School Clinician Rachel earned her B.A. in Psychology and Her M.A. in School Counseling from the Queens College School of Education. She comes to us from New York where she worked as a Crisis Counselor for at risk inner-city high school students. Rachel is currently the school based therapist at Shalhevet. She conducts individual and group therapy with the elementary, middle and high school students.
DEVORA ZHEUTLIN, MA, CAS Credentialed School Psychologist
School Psychologist Devora Zheutlin holds a Masters Degree and Post-Graduate Degree in School Psychology from Towson University, Maryland. Devora is well known for her ability to create highly successful school-parent behavioral plans, to facilitate successful interventions for children, and specializes in highly creative interventions and programming within the school setting.
LINDA GINGRAS, CAADAC ADAP Addiction Specialist
Mrs. Gingras is a board certified alcohol and drug counselor through the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC). She has extensive experience working with chemically dependent and dually diagnosed populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
