From the moment the invitation arrived in the mail,
guests planning on attending Aleinu’s
Musical evening knew it was going to be a special event. Close to 200 people

 Preventing Summer Skill Loss for our Children
"All
students lose skills during the summer months," Sasha Borenstein told
the mothers of Café' Mom. Café' Mom is a weekly Aleinu group designed
to help mothers come together and connect with one another while
acquiring new parenting skills. While children are enjoying the many
pleasures of summer, many of the skills they have learned during the

 Camp Counselors Get Into Shape for A Safe Summer
With
summer well underway, Aleinu is at it again working to keep our
children safe. Camp counselors are being trained with Mashi Benzaquen,
MSW facilitating the Aleinu Counselors' Boot Camp which covers
important topics including Creating A Positive Camp Atmosphere and

Senior
Services has begun on a high note in June by inviting seniors to a
Memory Course given by the UCLA Center on Aging at the JFS Pico
Robertson location. Those who attended the five week series learned
techniques to help them remember important details that they need to

Working Mamas Group
For
Hannah, coming to the New Moms Connect weekly support group has been a
life saver. "No one but you really knew how depressed I had become
after the birth of my baby. It helped so much to have a place to come
